
Sales Engineer - Water

- Research and develop a confident understanding of your target market and develop an effective sales strategy
- Undertake a range of sales activities to generate appointments and enquiries
- Visit customers to understand their requirement and provide a suitable engineering solution and build long term relationships
- Produce and follow up competitive quotations
- Understand and work to frameworks to generate enquiries and provide the right technical solution
- Attend exhibitions and sales events in the water industry, network and understand changes in the industry and thier potential opportunities
- Work to and achieve personal and team target
- Ideally you will already have experience of selling solutions into the water industry and have a confident understanding of NEC3
- You will be a confident and highly experienced sales professional with a background of selling to board level within a projects-based environment
- A qualified engineer ideally with knowledge of both electrical and mechanical
- Be familiar with the full sales cycle and have a proven background in building new business and managing existing customers
- Be happy to travel and stay away from home on a regular basis
- Excellent door opening, negotiation and persuasive skills with the ability to manage pipeline and close sales effectively
