Rate: £280-300/shiftAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the full fit-out of a retail unit in Camden, including the internal strip-out of an existing shop and transformation into a fully refurbished space. The project includes internal demolition, installation of new finishes and fixtures, shopfront signage, glazing and full decoration works.This is a site-based role requiring a proactive manager who can drive the programme, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and safety standards are upheld throughout the build.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day management of site operations from strip-out through to completionCoordination and supervision of subcontractors and suppliersManaging site logistics, deliveries, and sequencing of tradesEnsuring compliance with H&S regulations and company policiesMonitoring progress against programme and reporting to the project managerQuality control and snaggingLiaising with local authorities, building control, and clients as neededMaintaining accurate site records, inductions, and daily diariesRequirements:Proven experience as a Site Manager on shop fit-out or retail refurbishment projectsStrong knowledge of internal demolitions, retail fit outsSMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS(black gold or white), UKATA Asbestos and Fire MarshalExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple trades on a tight programmeBased within commutable distance to CamdenDesirable:Fit-out experience in high-end or branded retail unitsJoinery or carpentry background beneficial but not essentialLocation: Camden | Salary: 260 - 300 per day | Job type: Contract | Posted: 04/09/2025
