To define, manage, and derive system requirements that support the development of defence systems, ensuring compliance with customer needs, regulatory standards, and operational best practices.Key Responsibilities
- Engage with internal and external defence stakeholders to define system architectures and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
- Author and manage system requirements and design documentation in accordance with MOD and company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to derive technical requirements and ensure system integrity.
- Develop functional specifications to support design, integration, and verification activities.
- Analyse electrical and software interface definitions (ICDs) to support system integration.
- Prepare systems engineering plans in line with defence standards and company policy.
- Plan and execute system integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) activities.
- Conduct hands-on system integration in lab and field environments.
- Assess and define hardware/software interface requirements in coordination with stakeholders.
- Recommend and support system upgrades or modifications to meet evolving operational needs.
