CNC Machinist - NuneatonAre you an experienced CNC Machinist with knowledge of Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol or Fanuc controls?This is a great opportunity to work on low-volume, bespoke projects – not repetitive production. You’ll be machining tooling, composite parts, and jigs/fixtures to support a variety of unique projects across different industries.What’s on offer
  • Salary: £35,000 – £38,500 (depending on experience)
  • Shift allowance: +12.5%
  • Hours: 37 hours per week, double day shifts (weekly rotation) 06:00 – 14:30 / 14:15 – 22:45 (Mon–Thu) 06:00 – 11:00 / 10:45 – 15:45 (Fri only)

The role
  • Machine tooling and components using Epoxy boards, carbon composites, aluminium, steel, and other metals.
  • Set up machines and fixtures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Edit programmes and ensure cycle times are consistent with job requirements.
  • Accurately measure components using micrometers, verniers and other tools.
  • Maximise machine efficiency and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Provide feedback to improve future processes and support continuous improvement.
  • Carry out basic preventative maintenance on the machines you operate.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience of CNC machining with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol or Fanuc (training provided where required).
  • A solid understanding of machining technology, setting machines and working to tolerances.
  • The ability to edit programmes – essential.
  • Ideally, time-served with experience in a machining/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings (advantageous).
  • Assertive, flexible, and committed to getting the job done to meet customer requirements.
  • A true team player with strong communication skills.
