- Safety case specialist regarding projects and changes to site.
- Design Authority for modifications to existing plant and engineering works.
- Examination, testing and operation of the plant and the treatment, processing, keeping, storing, accumulating or carriage of any radioactive material or radioactive waste.
- Responsible to the Site Manager for efficiently scheduling the processing of wastes by the operations team to the required standard for disposal.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks.
- Set and track staff training, ensuring that all staff maintain SQEP.
- Mentor and coach as needed.
- Recruit and Onboard new team members.
- Deputise for the Site Manager in their absence.
- Support the Site Manager to deliver Capital & Operational projects.
- Support the Maintenance Manager to deliver effective upkeep and modification of plant through engineering control and technical support.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Support the undertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competence evaluations.
- BEng in Engineering subject or HND Engineering.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
- A working knowledge of the ONR License conditions golden thread is essential.
- 5 yrs experience working within the nuclear industry and delivering operational/engineering duties.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of plant and material handling equipment.
- Eng Chartership and/or CMI/ILM registration would be an advantage.
- Willingness to work towards CITB H&S pass, Project Management (PMP/ Prince) and IOSH Managing Safely.

- Assist the TI Central Engineering and TI Maintenance teams in the design of mechanical, civil elements of assigned and new projects. This includes surveying, detail design, specification, procurement, installation supervision, inspection, commissioning, and documentation.
