Looking for a new position in the Cardiology field? Now, we're inviting a new associate practitioner in Cardiology to join our friendly, expert team in the renowned Cardiac Rhythm Management and electrophysiology department.Work at the forefront of cardiac diagnostics, where you'll handle a full spectrum of investigations, including ECGs and Holter's. With our large cardiac rhythm management program, you'll have the chance to contribute to the care of our patients.We are a team comprised of motivated and skillful Consultant cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, Associate practitioners, Cardiographers and Cardiac nurse specialists. We are looking for a caring and hard working experienced band 4 Associate Practitioner in Cardiology or a senior band 3 Cardiographer who wants to develop.The ideal candidate will be expected to analyse 24hr ECG's and blood pressure monitors, assist with exercise testing and provide training to junior cardiographers and student healthcare scientists.This role would be based at Charing Cross Hospital though will rotate across all sites.Main duties of the job
  • To carry out a range of routine non-invasive clinical cardiac investigations
  • To demonstrate technical proficiency in a range of routine non-invasive diagnostic techniques
  • To be able to analyse and report on the results of routine investigations associated with the role.
  • To assist Cardiac Physiologists while they carry out complex investigations and procedures
  • To work actively with the other members of the team to provide a high quality service
  • To participate in departmental meetings, training programmes and CPD requirements
  • To assist in the supervision and training of junior Cardiographers and other healthcare assistants
  • To participate in quality assurance and any audit and research activities undertaken within the department

  • Proven experience in analysing Ambulatory recordings and assisting with Exercise Treadmill Testing
  • Proven administrative skills and computer literacy as required for routine use of clinical and patient database systems
