Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)We are working with a well-established and reputable Main Dealership in Shrewsbury, currently looking to expand their team with the addition of a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a great work-life balance with no weekend working and a supportive, flexible environment.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to a high standard
- Perform MOT tests (if qualified) and ensure compliance with DVSA standards
- Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet workshop targets
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Level 3 NVQ or IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) preferred
- MOT Licence (Class 4) desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in an independent or dealership workshop environment
- VAG experience is highly advantageous
- High standards of workmanship with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence required
- Competitive Basic Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
