Contract: Ongoing (Full-Time or Part-Time)We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join the Bradford Children and Families Trust, supporting the Children In Care Team. This locum role offers £37.00 per hour with flexible full-time or part-time options, including the possibility of hybrid working, allowing a mix of office and home-based work.Perks and BenefitsFlexible Hours: Full-time or part-time schedules to suit your lifestyle and work-life balance.Hybrid Working: Combine office and home-based work for a modern and adaptable environment.Professional Development: Enhance your skills and career progression within the Children In Care sector.Networking Opportunities: Connect with other professionals and expand your network.Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate within a dynamic, expert team that values your input.Purpose of the RoleTo provide advanced oversight and professional support for children in care, focusing on tracking and monitoring care plans, identifying barriers to progression, and ensuring timely interventions to improve outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack, review, and monitor care plans for children in care, dedicating one full day per week to this task.Follow up on actions related to care plans, including liaison with legal services and other stakeholders.Support accurate projection, planning, and strategy development to improve outcomes for children in care.Identify barriers to progression and propose effective solutions to overcome them.Attend team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive care strategies.Essential Qualifications & RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification).Registration with Social Work England.Experience in children’s social care, particularly working with children in care or looked-after children.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex cases.Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 & 2004, and Working Together to Safeguard Children.Skills & AttributesExcellent analytical, planning, and report-writing skills.Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Solution-focused approach to problem-solving and care planning.Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.Living and Working in BradfordBradford offers a vibrant community with rich cultural heritage, friendly neighborhoods, excellent transport links, and affordable living.
