- Manage and develop a portfolio of outdoor specialty accounts in the UK, focusing on growth and long-term partnerships.
- Treat each customer as a true key account: anticipate their needs, support them with tailored solutions, and deliver an excellent service that saves them time.
- Use data and market insights to identify business opportunities, track performance, and build account strategies that maximize sell-through and profitability.
- Act as the main contact for all aspects of account management – from order processing to information sharing and commercial discussions.
- Work cross-functionally with trade marketing, account operations, and credit teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and lead customer meetings with a structured approach, translating insights into actionable plans.
- Represent Columbia with passion and energy, conveying our values and brand promise at every interaction.

- Ideally located at a commuting distance of Windermere, Cumbria, or open to relocate, to be close to your team and customers
- Proven experience of +5 years in account management, ideally with key accounts in the outdoor, sporting goods, or FMCG industries. Footwear expertise would be a significant asset to support Columbia’s growth ambitions in this category
- A track record of developing strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and performance KPIs to drive business decisions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver impactful meetings.
- Operational experience and a willingness to dive into hands-on tasks to move projects forward.
- A full UK driving license
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional European languages are a plus.
