Start Date: September 2025 or ASAPAbout the Role:As a HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning – delivering interventions, covering lessons, and helping to raise attainment across Key Stage 1 and 2.You'll also work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.Key Responsibilities:Deliver planned lessons in the teacher’s absenceLead small group interventions across core subjectsSupport pupils with additional needs, including SEN and EALContribute to planning and assessment alongside teachersRequirements:HLTA qualification or equivalent experience * DBS on the update serviceConfident leading whole-class learning when requiredStrong behaviour management and communication skillsA positive, can-do attitude and passion for educationIf you are interested in working in some fantastic Northampton schools to support the next generation with their education then please get in touch.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
