Are you motivated and dedicated to supporting patients with the transition from hospital to home, and to continue with their rehabilitation in the community? The service has some exciting new developments happening across the county and we are looking to recruit highly motivated Rehabilitation Assistants to join the service in these exciting new developments.The innovative Stroke Service provides high quality specialist stroke rehabilitation in the community across Lincolnshire. The service has four bases across the county and works as a very flexible team. Your post will require the ability to travel to meet the needs of this county wide service and applicants must be able to work on a rota basis to assist in covering a 7 day a week 8am to 6pm service.Main duties of the jobYou will play a key role in supporting Therapy staff in delivering high quality patient centred care and rehabilitation to people who have recently experienced a stroke, in their own homes as well as community settings. You will be working with a full multidisciplinary team of specialist physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, clinical psychologist, psychology assistant, assistant practitioners and rehabilitation assistants.It is an exciting time to work in stroke rehabilitation in Lincolnshire. Our service has recently expanded to include Clinical Neuropsychology.
