
Skilled Machinist

- Operate manual and CNC machines (e.g. lathes, mills, grinders) to produce and refurbish aircraft components.
- Experience operating horizontal and vertical borers - ideal.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering instructions, and specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with aviation standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and adhere to all safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Proven experience as a Machinist in an aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with aviation standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. EASA, CAA) is a plus.
- A proactive, safety-conscious mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training.
- Additional certifications in CNC programming or aviation maintenance are advantageous.
