- Build and ship AI-powered features end to end, from spike to production, across backend and frontend where needed.
- Implement and integrate leading AI models (especially LLMs) to solve real customer problems, balancing accuracy, speed, and cost.
- Develop backend systems and processing engines (primarily Python; TypeScript a bonus) that power reporting and data extraction at scale and with reliability.
- Work closely with users and internal stakeholders to refine problems, iterate quickly, and improve time-to-value for inspectors and TIC partners.
- Own the quality of what you ship — sensible defaults, robust error handling, and basic observability to guide iteration.
- Tackle unique challenges in industrial AI, such as enabling software to understand and process technical drawings and decades of heterogeneous documents.
- Contribute to a scalable, AI-driven reporting layer that transforms how industrial data is collected, processed, and used.
- You’ve shipped AI products end to end and care about user value, not just models.
- Full-stack with a backend lean: comfortable in Python, with TypeScript a plus; able to stitch together services, APIs, and simple UIs to deliver outcomes.
- You bias toward LLMs when they fit, understand classical ML techniques when they’re better, and choose pragmatically based on the problem.
- Product-minded: you think through user experience and make tradeoffs that improve adoption and speed.
- You act with high agency and can figure out the 20% that will drive 80% of the results.
- You’re comfortable rapidly spiking ideas, validating them with users, and hardening the winners into maintainable, robust features.
- You’ve worked on AI products and can speak to impact: what you shipped, how users used it, and what moved.
- Work Ethic – Creating value takes grit, dedication, and relentless effort and mostly undeniable agency.
- Excellence – We raise the bar every day and expect world-class execution and we’re proud of the team when we execute.
- Long-term ambition – We are driven by the work we need to do, not by the work that we have done. We care about building in a way that gives us long term wins, and enables the company to succeed in the long term.
