Job Overview:
  • Maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Assure the compliance of all activities with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements.
  • Responding to medical information enquiries from healthcare professionals, community pharmacies, patients, and wholesalers.
  • Ensuring the completion of checks for new products; having the appropriate licence, the product is authorised for sale, the commodity code is correct, legal category correct, correct storage conditions and requirements imposed by national law are adhered to.
  • Identifying risks and to take necessary preventive measures pro-actively.
To be successful:
  • Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Root Cause Analysis and problem solving.
  • Firm understanding of MHRA guidance note 14, importation and manufacturing of unlicensed specials.
  • Fully IT literate: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Quality Manager experience is ideal.
  • Experience of Sage system is preferrable.
