As a Head Chef, you will lead food preparation to enhance our client’s reputation for quality, ensure compliance with regulations, drive sales with menu plans and promotions, and deliver high-quality service to clients and customers.Hourly Rate: £16-£19 per hour
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8am-4pm) – Occasional weekends.Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Plan events and seasonal menus within budget.
- Conduct kitchen audits and manage stock effectively.
- Address and escalate safeguarding concerns as needed.
- Organise regular meetings with kitchen team and management.
- Maintain a positive and motivated kitchen environment.
- Ensure team members are trained and competent.
- Excellent culinary skills and leadership qualities.
- Business management experience in a kitchen setting.
- Qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1, 2, NVQ Level 2.
- Experience in a similar leadership role.
- Passion for food and customer service.
- Knowledge of budgeting and achieving GP.
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Enhanced DBS certificate required.
