Location: Worthing, West SussexAre you a recent Psychology graduate or an experienced teaching assistant ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? A welcoming secondary school in Worthing is seeking an engaging and emotionally intelligent individual to join their team this September.This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience working with students with a range of needs, including those with social, emotional and mental health challenges. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, SEND specialists, and pastoral teams to support learning, build confidence, and help students reach their potential.What you'll be doing:Providing 1:1 and small group support inside and outside the classroomSupporting students with additional learning or behavioural needsHelping to implement behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation toolsAssisting with the planning and delivery of lessonsWhat we’re looking for:A degree in Psychology or relevant experience working with young peopleA calm, empathetic, and proactive approachA genuine passion for education and inclusionAn up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in education or youth work, with plenty of training and progression available.
