We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Liquid Formulation Technologist within our Formulation team.Location: 34 The Diamond Rd, Crumlin BT29 4QX
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 7am-6pm over four days.What does this role involve?
Some of the key duties of the role include:
  • The adherence to formulation protocols covering the manufacture of the full range of Randox liquid products in accordance with the departmental ISO framework.
  • The filtration of liquid diagnostic reagents and buffers.
  • The accurate completion of formulation records for every batch of component manufactured.
  • The operation and routine maintenance of various types of departmental equipment and analytical instrumentation.
  • The accurate use and maintenance of the Tetra (Sage) stock control system.
  • The alerting of the Liquid Formulation Supervisor to any problems in the manufacture of a product.
  • Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems.
  • Adherence to company Positive work Environment Policies, health & safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
Who can apply?
Essential criteria:
  • Qualified to degree level.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft packages
Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety including CoSHH
