Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work as a Team Manager in a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team in Trafford.
The DoLS Team is a borough and system-wide service within Adult Social Care and plays a crucial role in ensuring residents' legal rights are protected. The DoLS Team is responsible for ensuring that Trafford Council meets its statutory responsibilities under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 Schedule A1 for residents residing in hospital and care homes where there is evidence, the person lacks mental capacity to consent to being accommodated there.
