Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Agency: Teaching PersonnelKey Responsibilities:Deliver practical sessions in construction, carpentry, joinery, painting & decorating, or general tradesSupport students aged 13–21 with SEMH needs in developing real-world vocational skillsCreate and adapt sessions to meet individual learning and emotional needsWork 1:1 or with small groups in a supportive and inclusive environmentPromote independence, confidence, and positive behaviourCollaborate with teaching staff and SEN professionals to ensure pupil progressRequirements:Background in a trade (e.g. construction, carpentry, multi-skills, etc.)Experience or interest in working with young people with SEMH or SENStrong behaviour management and communication skillsPatient, reliable, and resilient approachEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Ideal For:Tradespeople looking to transition into education or mentoringPractitioners passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable learnersIndividuals with a hands-on, practical teaching styleTo Apply:Apply with updated CVAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
