The team partners closely with the business, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs e.g. Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Org Development, Policy and Risk) and Senior HR Business Partners to manage employee relations matters, ensuring adherence to Franklin Templeton’s policies and compliance with local laws and market practices. The GCP team delivers strategic people management solutions that empower our business to grow, thrive, and succeed. As HR Business Partner you’ll be part of a high performing team who deliver outstanding HR Business Partnering to the UK business.What are the ongoing responsibilities of a HR Business Partner?Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, providing expert guidance on HR policies, practices, and solutions.Analyse and resolve complex HR issues, delivering recommendations that align with both business objectives and HR best practices.Partner with leaders and employees to design and deliver HR services and strategies that drive organizational success.Provide consultation and support across the full talent management lifecycle, including workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.Lead and contribute to high-impact initiatives, implementing large-scale, cross-functional solutions with regional or global reach.Offer independent HR consulting to enhance team and leader effectiveness in areas such as succession planning, career development, compensation, and training.Champion organizational change by applying change management principles to support business transformation and roll out global HR programs.Proactively analyze employee relations trends, identifying root causes and recommending solutions to strengthen culture and engagement.Educate leaders and employees on the interpretation and application of corporate policies, ensuring compliance and alignment with company values.What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?Experience HR partnering experience, ideally within the Financial Services industry.Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law, with the ability to apply it effectively in a business context.Broad knowledge of core HR functions, including staffing, leadership and employee development, HR analytics, performance management, benefits, and compensation.Experience using Workday or a similar ERP/HRIS platform preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; CIPD qualification preferred.#LI-EURExperience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential!Building teams with diverse skills, backgrounds, and experiences has always been important to us.
