Overtime is optional and always paid, and we offer flexible working hours to allow you to enjoy a normal family life whilst making great games.We’re looking for an Experienced QA Developer to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside.As an Experienced QA Developer at Double Eleven, you’ll help create our suite of build and test automation tools for our current and upcoming games. The role will involve expanding, improving and maintaining the build process, automated stability and performance tests, and metric tracking. Ideally you’ll have a burning desire to automate everything, a love of graphs, and a breadth of knowledge of tools and technologies.We can support UK relocation and have a dedicated People team on standby to assist you and your family with every step to us.Strictly no agencies (sorry guys!) and we’re unable to sponsor a visa for this role.Would you enjoy

What you'll be doing
  • Developing robust and efficient automated scripts and tools for Unity and Unreal engine games
  • Research, Ideate, Develop and Implement proof of concepts for gameplay testing on various consoles/platforms
  • Analyse and evaluate open source tools and check the feasibility of the solutions in our own projects
  • Understand gameplay mechanics for multiple consoles (Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch) and create solutions for redundant tasks
  • Implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD) for automation executions
  • Along with other QA developers, own the test and build infrastructure and pipeline
  • Good understanding on the given code and debugging skills to investigate problems
What we're looking for
  • Games industry experience
  • Demonstrable experience in the field of Development / Programming
  • Strong programming skills in C# or Java
  • Development experience using .Net framework (C#), ASP.NET
  • Strong experience in programming in game engines (Unity 3D, Unreal)
  • Experience with languages such as: Python, powershell, bash and other scripting languages
  • Solid understanding of coding process, standards and methodologies
  • All the typical programming skills: source control, code architecture, debugging, testing
  • All the typical soft skills: problem solving, teamwork, communication, organisation, time management, self-motivation, desire to learn
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Team City, Jenkins or other CI systems
