Job Title: Fire Alarm Service EngineerLocation: KentRate: £220 p/dayAre you looking for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer role covering Kent? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the routine servicing, fault finding, and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers across care homes and commercial premises. You will also be required to carry out full 3-hour emergency lighting tests.Description of contract/programme of works:
  • Routine servicing and fault diagnosis on fire alarms
  • 3-hour emergency light testing and inspection
  • Basic servicing of fire extinguishers
  • Sites include care homes and commercial premises
  • Panels include a variety of standard addressable and conventional systems
Experience required:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience servicing fire safety systems
  • Strong background in fault finding and compliance checks
  • Comfortable working in live sites such as care settings
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
  • DBS - beneficial
  • ECS card - beneficial
  • Own hand tools, power tools, and fire test equipment
  • Steps and full PPE
