Salary: up to £65,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus + benefits
Location: Scotland (commutable to Aberdeen, Inverness, Central Belt)The Responsibilities for the Engineering Project Manager:
- Lead and manage complex engineering projects within the Oil & Gas Sector, from conception to commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and within allocated resources.
- Develop project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Annual CAPEX spend £10m +
- Oversee and manage the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, requirements, and standards.
- Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and third-party entities, fostering effective collaboration to achieve project objectives.
- Take ownership of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, implementing and managing Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) processes.
- Manage and control project costs, continuously monitoring budgets, and implementing corrective measures as required.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilise effective communication and leadership skills to manage project teams, motivating team members to achieve project milestones.
- Adhere to the principles of Construction Design and Management (CDM) to ensure the safe execution of construction projects.
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification and project management expertise
- Experience of using project management models such as Prince2 etc and software such as Microsoft project required.
- Significant project management experience with ability to manage numerous projects involving stakeholder engagement, budget control, customer outcomes and specified deliverables
- Experience of managing engineering projects within the transport fuel / Oil distribution/ EV or other high hazard sector
- Experience of multi project delivery within a high-risk profile organisation would be beneficial
- Experience of HSE management systems and permit to work processes and contractor management
- Knowledge and experience of working with CDM 2015 beneficial
