As Business Development & Tendering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing new opportunities through public sector frameworks and direct bids, while building strong, enduring relationships with housing associations, local authorities, and procurement networks.This is a hands-on role with the scope to grow into a senior leadership position.What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
Identify new project opportunities via frameworks, portals, and procurement platforms
Lead end-to-end preparation and submission of PQQs, ITTs, and tender documents
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure competitive, deliverable bids
Maintain and update the bid library, including case studies and policies
Support senior leaders in client meetings, events, and follow-up activities
Organise briefings, site visits, and touchpoints to strengthen client relationships
Track success rates and maintain detailed CRM records of stakeholders and opportunities
Monitor housing policy and funding shifts to inform strategy and pipeline development
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
Proven experience in public sector or construction tendering
Strong understanding of frameworks, DPSs, and compliance processes
Confident communicator with client-facing experience
Highly organised with ability to manage multiple deadlines
Excellent written English and attention to detail
Familiarity with procurement portals (e.g. Proactis, Delta, Jaggaer)
Knowledge of affordable/social housing funding and policy
Competency with CRM systems and basic document design tools
