Location: London – HybridPURPOSE OF ROLE:
We are working with a leading Lloyd’s broker to recruit a Senior Claims Technician to join their London Office. This role will sit within the claims technical division and will focus on processing claims across a cross-class, international portfolio.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process claims for a wide range of classes across global territories.
- Manage claims payments, bordereaux, and related technical processing.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and market procedures.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across client service, premium support, and claims teams.
- Provide technical expertise to support the efficiency of the division.
- Handle end-to-end claims processing through market systems.
- Maintain accurate claims records, payments, and reconciliation.
- Support claims reporting and assist with bordereaux management.
- Liaise with brokers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
- Contribute to improving processes and system usage where possible.
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in claims processing within a Lloyd’s/London Market broker.
- Strong technical knowledge of cross-class claims.
- Experience with international business.
- Knowledge of bordereaux, claims payments, and end to end processing procedures.
- Additional knowledge of premium processing or IBA is highly advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and technical processing skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Familiarity with Eclipse IT system (desirable).
