On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for an Aircraft Mechanic to support their maintenance activities.
The role has arisen as the company is growing on the maintenance arm of their business, while welcoming the introduction of a new hangar. The team are dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services, ensuring value at every step for some of the world’s leading lessors and airlines.Key Responsibilities
To support our growing Part 145 Team and assist in the maintenance of various aircraft types.
You will primarily be assisting our B1 Engineers during the arrival and subsequent storage and maintenance checks performed to maintain aircraft serviceability prior to entering part outOther duties involve:
- Working as part of a team to ensure the safe and compliant maintenance of aircraft.
- Accept training in Part 145 Procedures, HF, EWIS & FTS.
- Working as a team to ensure aircraft are maintained IAW with team approvals.
- To raise any non-conformities/risk of damage/ safety hazards to your manager.
- To work closely with the B1 Engineers and the maintenance manager.
- To actively participate support the daily reviews, Team Project Boards.
- To work with various tools/equipment and ensure all items are always maintained and in a good state of repair.
- Perform routine tooling inventory checks.
- Supporting the delivery of KPIs across safety, quality, and productivity to maintain operational growth.
- Work with help from the business to attain a Part 66 A/B1/B2 license.
- Coordination with customers and management of customer stock
- Recognised Aircraft Maintenance Qualification
- Demonstrable experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Good Communication skills.
- Be highly focused sticking to the objectives and goals of the Company without giving in to undue distractions and challenges.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results.
