- Provide individual and group tutoring in Maths and English subjects
- Create tailored lesson plans to meet the learning needs of each student
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve
- Utilise various teaching methods to engage students and enhance their understanding
- Collaborate with other educators to develop effective teaching strategies
- Relevant qualification in Maths, English or Education
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong understanding of Maths and English curriculum
- Ability to assess students' learning needs and provide targeted support
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Additional qualifications in special education or literacy development
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
