- Qualifications: HNC (with relevant experience) or a degree in Engineering (preferred). We will also consider candidates with qualifications in other STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, or Maths).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in water or waste infrastructure is ideal. However, we're open to candidates with experience in other utility sectors.
- Communication Skills: Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential to support customer-focused behaviours.
- Development Potential: A clear desire and ability to develop project management skills, including undertaking NEC accreditation.
- Technical Awareness: Appreciation of stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is expected.
- Mobility: Travel across the ST region is required. As many sites are not accessible via public transport, a driving licence and access to a vehicle are necessary.
- Location & Working Culture: The role will be based in Coventry or Derby. Our culture places emphasis on being office-based for the majority of the time (i.e., not home-based).
