Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently looking for a Class Teacher for a 2 form entry Primary School in Weston-Super-Mare starting as soon as possible.Working within this school, they can offer a warm, welcoming and secure environment, in a school that believes in a strong sense of family community.Their priorities are to nurture each individual child to respect and value one another and to gain confidence in themselves.The RoleThe Head Teacher is looking for a confident and experienced KS2 Teacher who can provide a supportive, inclusive and challenging learning environment for the children.As a cover Teacher, you will be Teaching Year 3 but delivering pre-planned lessons. With this there is an expectation that you adapt lessons if there are any misconceptions and use your knowledge to do so.Early Career Teachers and/or experienced teachers are welcome to apply.You will be expected to:
  • Hold great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Ability to assess development, to plan and adapt the curriculum to meet needs.
  • Create an engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate well with other KS2 Teachers.
  • Plan and Deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate
