- Level 3 City & Guilds Craft or NVQ equivalents electrical installation/maintenance or equivalent experience
- IEE 18th Edition
- Gas Safe registered/ trained
- ONC
- Water bylaws
- Lift Trained
- Nurse call systems trained
- BMS Understanding/ qualification
- Hydro pool trained
- Decontamination control, trained (autoclaves)
- Medical gas trained
- Prior experience in an engineering service
- Experience in training colleagues in an Estates department
- Experience working in the building trades
- Experience working in large industrial/commercial environments
- Service within the field of maintenance, focus on service supply, problem solving keeping the client informed.
- Problem solving BMS systems
- Experience working in an Acute Hospital Environment
- Be available for out of hours/on-call duties
- Be able to travel between Trust sites when required
- Be able to work overtime at short notice.
- Good IT skills
- Ability to cope with demanding scenarios.
- Good organisational skills and ability to address and develop solutions to problems.
- A dedicated and committed member of a team.
- Customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to undertake emergency-situation repairs.
- Knowledge of HTMs
