The Neurology Department has an exciting and varied role for a Part-time vacancy for a Medical Secretary / Pathway Navigator.This role also encompasses Neurophysiology Administration, dealing with appointments for nerve conduction studies and the distribution of reports and uploading these results on to Cerner.This vacancy requires interaction with patients, GPs, Consultants, and team members.This is an opportunity to work in a fascinating specialty with a friendly team. Training and comprehensive support is provided.Main duties of the jobTo deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner to ensure that appropriate messages are passed onto the relevant people in a timely fashion. To communicate highly sensitive information to patients / consultants.
