As Finance Manager - Systems & Control, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and developing finance systems processes, supporting senior stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across the group. You'll take ownership of daily financial systems administration and support the development and implementation of best practices in budgeting, reporting, and timesheet systems.
You'll work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, while leading a small team and liaising with central finance functions and senior management-offering significant visibility and career progression opportunities.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Finance Assistant
- Administer, support and improve finance systems-particularly Mercur (Budgeting/Reporting) and TEFA (Timesheet system)
- Act as the primary contact for user support, tickets and queries related to Mercur and TEFA
- Monitor and govern data flows and integration between systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Define and document best practices, standardising processes across the business
- Perform regular audits and data quality reviews
- Deputise for the Senior Finance Manager in managing ERP system (Oracle) responsibilities
- Strong understanding of financial systems and controls
- Experience with budgeting, reporting, or timesheet systems (Mercur/TEFA/Oracle a bonus)
- Proven ability to manage or mentor junior team members
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement
- Confident communicator able to work across business functions and senior levels
