Maples Care Home is a purpose-built nursing home in Bexleyheath, set over three floors and designed to combine modern facilities with a warm, homely atmosphere. Location: 29 Glynde Road, Bexleyheath
Salary: £12.81 - £13.13ph (Dependent on if you hold any NVQ's)Contracts available:
  • 3 shifts per week (34.5 hours) OR 4 shifts per week (46 hours)
  • Choice of Day shifts (7am–7pm) OR Night shifts (7pm–7am)
  • Work on a rota basis, including weekends and public holidays
In this rewarding role, you’ll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.What you’ll be doing:
  • Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfort
  • Providing personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independence
  • Helping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate care
  • Contributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representatives
  • Supporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the home
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your team
What you’ll bring:
  • A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your work
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all times
  • Ideally, a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
