Start Date: September 2025Teaching where it matters most.We’re working with a warm and well-resourced specialist school who are looking for a qualified SEND Teacher to join their team this September. The role is full-time and long-term, supporting pupils aged 7–14 with a range of additional needs, including Autism and SEMH.This is a school that gets SEND. You’ll be part of a thoughtful, experienced team that truly puts pupil wellbeing and progress at the heart of everything they do.What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a small class of pupils with tailored, differentiated learning
- Working closely with TAs, therapists, and SLT to create structured support plans
- Using creative strategies to engage pupils in core and foundation subjects
- Managing behaviour using trauma-informed approaches
- Building relationships that make a real, lasting impact
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Proven experience working with children with SEND (mainstream or specialist)
- Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and individualised education plans
- Someone who’s calm, consistent, and genuinely passionate about inclusion
- You’re Thrive trained (or ready to train—we offer this free!)
- You’ve worked in an SEN setting before or delivered bespoke curriculum adaptations
