Waking Night Support Worker – Primrose Lodge (Addiction Recovery)
Location: Guildford
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Average 43.75 hours per week
Working pattern: Week 1 – 3 nights, Week 2 – 4 nights (rolling rota)Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Do you thrive during the night and want to be part of a dedicated team supporting individuals on their journey to recovery?Primrose Lodge, part of the UK Addiction Treatment Group (UKAT), is seeking a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Guildford. This is a vital role that helps provide stability, safety, and emotional support to our residents during overnight hours.What you'll do:Provide a reassuring presence and emotional support to clients overnightConduct regular wellbeing checks and respond to client needs promptlyComplete detailed handovers and maintain accurate records and logsCarry out security and health & safety checks throughout the nightWork closely with the day team to ensure continuity of careWorking Hours:7:00 PM to 7:30 AMRolling rota: 3 nights one week, 4 nights the following weekAverage of 43.75 hours per weekWhat we're looking for:Experience working in a support or care setting is desirable but not essential – we provide full trainingSomeone calm, empathetic, and resilient, especially in crisis situationsStrong communication and teamwork skillsA commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and recoveryThe benefits of being a Senior Support Worker in the team:
