Working Hours: 3-Week Rolling Shift PatternWe are currently seeking a caring and committed SEN Support Worker to join a Residential Site in Ribchester, near Longridge. As an SEN Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in delivering person-centred support to children and young people with additional needs. You’ll work closely with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the young people receive safe, structured, and nurturing care.Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with daily routines, emotional regulation, and social development
- Encouraging participation in education and leisure activities
- Maintaining clear and accurate records
- Promoting independence and life skills
- Ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of each individual in your care
- Monday: 07:00 – 10:00
- Tuesday: 14:00 – 23:00
- Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00
- Monday: 12:00 – 23:00
- Saturday: 07:00 – 10:00
- Sunday: 07:30 – 10:30
- Tuesday: 07:00 – 17:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 10:00
- Saturday: 07:30 – 10:30
- A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with SEN
- Reliability and commitment to consistent care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Calm, compassionate, and resilient nature
- Experience in SEN, residential care, or support work
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent)
- Full induction and ongoing training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
