An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic Specialist Grade doctor to join the Acute Medicine Department at University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust.   • A minimum of 12 years full time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained either part time or through Less Than Full Time Training) since obtaining a primary medical qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in the Specialty Doctor/SAS Grade or equivalent in the Acute Medicine specialty or similar experience.
  • Evidence of independent clinical practice in Acute Medicine
Desirable
  • Clinical training & experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Acute (Internal) Medicine.
  • Experience of Same Day Emergency Care
  • Experience of monitoring patients remotely (virtual ward)
Teaching / AuditEssential
  • Experience of & commitment to teaching undergraduates & postgraduates
  • Experience of supervising F1, F2, ST trainees.
  • Experience of & commitment to clinical audit
