- Preparing financial statements for a range of clients and owner managed businesses, ensuring compliance with various accounting requirements.
- Preparing management accounts for a range of clients on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Carrying out reviews of charity financial statements and preparing charity accounts ensuring SORP compliance.
- Working closely with colleagues across departments such as tax and payroll to deliver accurate and efficient client services.
- Developing strong client relationships by providing clear, confident responses to queries and escalating issues when necessary.
- Contributing towards the wider team by supporting a range of ad-hoc tasks and project work.
- Proven experience within a professional accountancy practice.
- ICAS/ACCA part qualified/qualified by experience highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable strong numerical ability with sharp analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proven client-focused approach, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in accounting ERP systems.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks whilst adhering to deadlines.
