- Receive, question and respond to business-as-usual briefs and bigger campaign briefs
- Craft insight-led creative briefs
- Develop demand gen, engagement and nurture strategies, content campaigns and events
- Develop value propositions and segmented messaging frameworks
- Develop briefs to inspire exciting and culturally relevant content
- Improve the work throughout the creative process, backed by insight
- Keep on top of the latest B2B marketing theory and best practices
- Be able to brief partner agencies/disciplines
- Develop testing plans and measurement frameworks
- Effectiveness analysis and data-informed recommendations
- Earn the trust of mid-level clients
- Strong foundation in B2B strategy and marketing communications.
- Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey, targeting, segmentation, and messaging messaging platforms, propositions, content planning.
- Awareness of B2B technology, platforms, and innovation and how to apply them to brand objectives.
- Good judge of creative work, knowing how to help creative get to the very best work
- Able to identify inspiring insights to inform a convincing strategy
- Able to synthesize complex information into a persuasive story for clients
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, CS and creative leaders
- Good facilitation skills with senior clients and agency partners to achieve positive outcomes
- Can react quickly to, and overcome, challenges during the planning/creative process
- Substantial planning experience
- Experience of B2B buyer behaviours and need states
- Experience of developing value propositions and comms frameworks to support B2B buyer journeys
- Experience of demand generation campaigns
- Experience of engagement and nurture activity
- Experience of content development
- Experience working with effectiveness methodologies
- Substantive, authoritative and credible
- Must enjoy the challenge of being in the spot-light and be fast on their feet
- Good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Positive and flexible attitude in the face of adversity
