- Supervise classes of students in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students are engaged and on task.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and productive learning environment.
- Answer student questions and provide guidance to support their learning.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding.
- Has a confident and authoritative presence in the classroom.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is adaptable, resilient, and able to think on their feet.
- Is a strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Holds a degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Experience working with young people is a must.
