- Design and deliver innovative teaching and learning materials, including blended learning approaches.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and contribute to assessment processes.
- Act as Personal Academic Tutor and support student development.
- Engage with recruitment and selection activities.
- Undertake academic administrative responsibilities and contribute to School and University committees.
- Participate in scholarly activity, CPD, and professional development.
- Promote inter-professional learning and collaboration across the School.
- Ensure inclusive, sustainable, and safe teaching practices.
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Relevant experience in teaching and course management in higher education
- To be considered for Senior Lecturer (Teaching) - A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a collaborative and student-centred approach
- Annual incremental increase for Lecturer up to £42,882, with the opportunity to progress to £46,735 and for Senior Lecturer £55,755, with the opportunity to progress to £60,907 subject to performance and the university reward scheme
- 47 days of leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays and University closure days)
