This is a permanent hire and will be for approx two days per week (1 day in the office).The Part Time Accountant role is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant who is seeking a flexible schedule while contributing to a professional accounting and finance team.Working alongside the Head of Finance, the role will cover:- Book-keeping support using Sage:o Enter purchase and sales invoiceso Collate fortnightly payment runo Analyse drawdown and distribution notices, record in Excel and reconcile with Capital Account Statements every quartero Manual entry of foreign currency bank account transactions into Sageo Maintain co-investment loan records and reconcile to Sage every quartero Maintain loan account records and reconcile to Sage every quartero Analyse credit card spend, note identity of client if entertainment-related, enter into Sage using bank feed and reconcile- Keeping track of drawdown and distribution notices and ensuring all are paid on a timely basis- Assisting in the preparation of quarterly management accounts- Assisting with maintaining (and improving) the cashflow forecasting model in excel- Assisting with preparation of draft VAT returns and liaising with accountants to agree partial recovery methodology- Liaising with auditors and tax advisers at year endJoin a Boutique Financial Services firm on Permanent Basis (Central London)Part Time Accountant for approx. two days per weekYou will be:
  • Fully Qualified in ACA (or ACCA or CIMA)
  • Good working knowledge of Sage - desirable
  • Professional approach, Discreet and Diplomatic approach
  • Commit to approx two days per week with one in the office
  • Financial Services experience desirable but not essential
  • Excellent Attention to detail
