Title: Despatch OperatorLocation: PortsmouthShift: Monday - Friday 37 hoursContract: £13.71 PAYEOur client has an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Operator to join their team and to hit the ground running.The day to day;
  • Placing packing orders via Kite
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Export Compliance desirable
  • Communicate effectively with Shipping Department on queries for customer orders and resolve queries.
  • Daily upkeep of Despatch
  • Packing
  • Heavy lifting / Manual handling
  • Loading and unloading
  • Shrink wrapping pallets
  • Any other duties as requested
About you and the good to knows;
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • High level of numeracy and literacy preferably
  • Previous experience in a despatch environment preferably
  • PC literate - use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Forklift License
