  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A clear understanding of the National Curriculum for Maths.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Participate in school-wide pastoral duties and extracurricular activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Attend and contribute to departmental and whole-school meetings.
  • Act as a tutor, providing guidance and support to a group of students.
  • Undertake continuous professional development to improve teaching practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices for student success.
