- Overseeing all accounting and finance aspects of the hotel including month-end procedures, accounts receivable, cost control, income audit, cashiering as well as accounts payable.
- Continuously identifying and developing areas for business improvement and motivating key stakeholders to actively engage in the process through P&L analysis.
- Showing a sound understanding of the hotel operation paired with expert finance knowledge to provide valuable insights to support the leadership team in achieving maximum profitability in their areas of responsibility.
- Acting as a coach and mentor to the Finance team by providing guidance and support in maintaining high performance and engagement.
- Experience at managerial level within Finance of an upscale hotel with knowledge of all key areas of Finance
- A good understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
- A thorough understanding of the hotel operation
- The ability to manage conflicting stakeholder views at all levels of the organisation
