- Proactively enhance career service engagement through strategic communication and
- outreach initiatives aimed at increasing student attendance and participation.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of student needs to tailor outreach efforts effectively.
- Conduct follow-up calls, class visits, and one-on-one meetings to build strong relationships with students and encourage engagement.
- Design and implement a diverse range of activities to drive awareness and engagement, including:
- Proactive calls, telephone and in-person.
- Follow up communications through email, SMS, or social media.
- Classroom visits and on-campus pop-up events.
- Identifying and reaching out to eligible students.
- Ensure participants’ eligibility for each programme is verified and recorded accurately.
- Work closely with campus colleagues, including programme coordinators, academic staff, and student services, to deliver impactful engagement initiatives.
- Track engagement metrics, participation rates, and feedback to assess the impact of initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and programme eligibility.
- Minimum GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in outreach, engagement, or customer-facing roles.
- Proven ability to engage with diverse groups and drive participation in programmes or events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A team player who collaborates effectively and shares best practices.
- Adaptability to work across different campuses and flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Experience in higher education or student support services is advantageous.
