Dean Park Primary School serves the village of Balerno, located in South West Edinburgh. Our school operates across two sites: the main campus situated in the Marchbank estate, and the nursery annexe nestled in the heart of the village. We currently have a school roll of approximately 500 pupils and capacity for 88 full time pupils within our nursery provision.Dean Park Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school with a strong sense of community and shared purpose. As a Gold Level Rights Respecting School, we place children's rights at the centre of our values, decisions and daily practice.We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic School Administrator to join our office team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy school office demonstrating a calm and professional manner, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.Having experience of the following systems is also desirable: -

  • Oracle
  • ParentPay
  • Pebble Fund Manager
  • Microsoft Excel and Word
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
