It's this global reach and innovation that sets us apart.We’re looking for a Security Officer to support Paymentology’s cryptographic key management practices and contribute to operational security standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining secure environments, executing key lifecycle tasks, and supporting audit readiness. If you’re experienced in information security, familiar with PKI and HSM systems, and keen to grow your expertise in cryptography and secure hardware operations, this is your opportunity to make a global impact.What you get to do::
  • You will execute tasks related to cryptographic key generation, renewal, and installation using tools such as OpenSSL and HSM software. You’ll assist in tracking key expirations and coordinating renewal activities across Service Delivery, Compliance, and Engineering teams.
  • You will participate in secure key deployments in test and production environments under senior guidance and maintain documentation aligned to PCI-DSS standards, supporting audit preparations. You’ll liaise with card schemes such as Visa and Mastercard to facilitate secure key exchanges and responses to routine requests.
  • You’ll shadow and support the HSM Key Manager, gaining hands-on experience in secure hardware operations, while contributing to daily security operations and process improvements under direction from the InfoSec leadership.

< 5%What it takes to succeed:
  • You should bring 2-3 years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure Security, or similar fields. You’ll need familiarity with cryptographic concepts, PKI, OpenSSL, and basic HSM operations, along with strong documentation skills and the ability to work across security and technical teams.
  • Experience with PCI-DSS or ISO27001 frameworks is preferred, and certifications like CISSP, CISA, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer will be considered a plus.
Education & Experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Information Security, Computer Science, or IT is preferred. You should have a solid background in security operations and cryptographic practices, with a proven ability to support compliance and audit processes.
