Role Overview
As a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will:
  • Independently manage a varied caseload, delivering high-quality assessment and treatment plans.
  • Work across specialist inpatient areas, including PICU, NICU, cardiac care, and support outpatient services such as neurorehabilitation and sensory integration.
  • Supervise junior Occupational Therapists, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with the Lead OT and wider multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to service development projects and departmental growth.
Requirements
The successful Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist will have:
  • HCPC registration and a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience, ideally at Band 7 level in paediatric inpatient care.
  • A strong clinical background with evidence of service development experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach within multidisciplinary settings.
