📍 Northampton | 💼 Fixed-Term Contract (6-12 months) | 💰 £65,000 - £70,000Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for your next challenge? We're working with a well-established business in Northampton who are seeking an immediately available interim Financial Controller to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis.🔍 The Role:As Interim Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting the business through a period of change, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and leading a small finance team. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and be a hands-on part of the month-end process and forecasting cycle.🧾 Responsibilities:Oversee month-end and year-end close processesDeliver accurate management accounts and financial reportsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementDrive process improvements and strengthen internal controlsLead and mentor the finance team, ensuring deadlines are metLiaise with external auditors and advisors✅ Requirements:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Previous experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leadStrong technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumenComfortable in a hands-on role with the ability to hit the ground runningMust be immediately availableMust live locally to Northampton or within commutable distance💼 The Offer:Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 (pro rata)Fixed-term contract: 6-12 monthsOpportunity to make a tangible impact during a key phase of business transition
